Chron.Com asked the Beowulf cast if they had every read or even heard of the classic piece of literature before working on the film and this is Alison’s reply;

“It (Beowulf) wasn’t required reading for me, so it was new. “I read the Hobbit and remember getting carried away by that magical land and being very affected by it.”

The Belfast Telegraph asked Alison what she thought of performing with the use of motion capture;
“I don’t get too excited about it because I don’t have that control, says Lohman. There’s a part of me that wants to know how I’m going to look and I don’t. I don’t know how long my hair will be, what my dress will be like. I definitely look younger. I’m sure I have bigger boobs, though. I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s great.’”
